He has more than 33 years of experience (more than 15 years exclusive in oil field water management) in the areas of groundwater exploration (geophysical, geo-hydrological, remote sensing and GIS based), well field and well design, waste disposal well, Groundwater Information System, Flow-Solute Transport- Reactive modelling using various public domain and commercial computer packages in hard rock, alluvial plain, marginal alluvial plain, and sedimentary basins (shallow and deep aquifer), selective experience in using flow and solute transport models for impact assessment of lignite mining dewatering, and also in modelling land subsidence models using MODFLOW, hydrochemistry and hydro-chemical database management, geochemical modelling (PHREEQC), landfill monitoring and contamination risk analysis.
